WNY Bridge Brigade
Be Brave
With Us
The WNY Bridge Brigade provides physical messaging in the real world to connect with and activate community members who share anger and fear about our democracy's future.
About WNYBB
We are concerned citizens of Western New York, engaging in what we call Rush Hour Resistance.
Every week, dedicated volunteers gather on bridges and overpasses throughout Western New York, displaying bold, clear signs that cut through the distraction and propaganda.
We know many people driving by us share our outrage and alarm about this regime's actions, and we want them to know they're not alone.
Join us on the bridges, or start your own brigade. Democracy thrives when we refuse to stay invisible.
About The Visibility Brigade
The Visibility Brigade movement was born in 2020 on an overpass in Paramus, NJ, out of frustration over the lack of physical messaging in the real world about the existential crisis we face as a nation.
There are now multiple brigades across the country, like the WNY Bridge Brigade, with new ones forming every day!
And when some confused person flips you the bird, ignore them, or smile and give them the peace sign.
Check back soon for our next event.
Join Us!
Just show up with a positive attitude, a desire to save democracy, a love of honks and waves, and a thick skin for middle fingers and waving fists.
Parking
To be sure, park on-street where it's legally posted. Business parking lots are private property, so parking is generally only legal if you're a customer during business hours.
What to Bring
Banners or signs with big, simple messages drivers can read in a glance; big or small American, Canadian, Ukrainian, Palestinian, Venezuelan, Greenland flags; anything you may need, like water or a chair.
Remember
Ignore the middle fingers and negativity coming from some of the cars below. For every one of those confused folks, you are providing hope to another 100 people!
